Q: I need to update my menu board for the upcoming season, what dictates Meadowvale pricing?
A: Pricing is based off of current ingredient prices along with the current supply and demand among other worldly influences. This meaning a bad vanilla bean crop will force the price of vanilla to go up, a bad year in the sugar industry will force sugar prices to go up, and if it’s good, vice versa.
Q: As a small, independent operation it’s difficult to get good service; What makes Meadowvale any different?
A: Meadowvale was founded over 50 years ago with the independent operator in mind. The heart of our company, from production to distribution is dedicated to servicing operations of all sizes with equal enthusiasm. We’re never more than a phone call away!
Q: How does your company ensure a consistent, quality product?
A: Our facility is SQF Certified and we follow rigorous food safety standards. Our Quality Assurance team insures consistency and industry leading quality control with our in-house laboratory.
Q: We have a multi-unit chain in several states and anticipate rapid growth; will Meadowvale be able to handle our unique needs?
A: Meadowvale has been providing outstanding service to both small independents and multi-unit chains for years. Partnering in our clients success is our greatest source of pride. We’re here to serve!
Q: What kind of packaging do you offer?
Currently we only package mixes in 2.5 gallon bags, with 2 (2.5) gallon bags per case. Each case has 5 gallons.
We also offer packaging in totes, if preferred.
Q: Do you offer custom formulations?
We are dedicated to providing the best mixes in the dairy industry. If one of our 20+ premium formulas doesn’t meet your needs, we do offer custom formulations with batch minimums (usually 1000+ gallons). Q: Are your mixes a liquid or powder?
All of our dairy mixes are fresh, liquid mixes that need to be refrigerated and used within 30 days of manufacturing. We do not offer powder mixes. If you’re looking for a more shelf-stable product, we recommend continuing your search for a product more suitable for your needs.
